I love a good multifaceted piece of clothing. I rarely spend money on myself anymore; I’d rather spend my money on my kids. I’m sure I’m not the only one who is like that. I usually wear hoodies, t-shirts, jeans, leggings, or shorts daily. But I will on occasion splurge on what I call “real” clothes. These are items that I wear when I “dress up” or an going somewhere I wouldn’t normally just wear a t-shirt and jeans, even if it isn’t a fancy event.
There is one such pieces of clothing for sale in my Poshmark Closet (@thriftlyfindsco) right now! I’m honestly surprised it hasn’t sold! It’s a perfect summer playsuit. It’s by Venus and it screams “Beach Babe” every time I look at it! And it is a single item that can be worn four different ways. I mean HELLO weekend getaway perfection. I would totally pack this one main item and a few accessory items to change up the outfits for a quick trip to see some sun and sand!
Look #1: This is the simplest way to wear this piece. I just paired cute summery, floral platform heels and a big chunky necklace. This is the perfect look for a summer night beach bonfire or garden party. It’s classic and makes a statement all in the same comfortable piece.
Look #2: This is something I would consider wearing to a dinner date. I added a vintage denim jacket, cowboy boots, and a vintage crossbody purse. It’s cute. It’s casual. It’s simple! And these are 3 things I always opt for in my wardrobe.
Look #3: This is a look I would wear for shopping with my girlfriends, or out sight seeing with my husband. I took the sleeve and folded it inside and tucked it inside my bra band to make a one shouldered look. I also put on beachy light weight loose fitting pants, added a small necklace and neutral loafers with my vintage crossbody worn as a shoulder bag.
Look #4: This is the most dressy way to wear this playsuit. It’s also a very simple way to change up the look. I tucked the shorts into a mini skirt, and threw on some gold platform sandals. This is one of my favorite ways to wear this gem! It’s so easy and looks so classy. It’s an awesome way to dress up for a night out on the town.
These are just a few simple ways to change up the look of a single piece of clothing. I love the versatility of this one little playsuit. Honestly I want one for myself, if I ever get that beach vacation I’ve been dreaming of! My personal style is more about one classic piece that I dress up or dress down with accessories. I love being about to make many looks from just a few pieces. It makes it so much easier to keep wearing something you love and not look the same at every event you go to! Plus if you’re like my husband you prefer a minimalist wardrobe, pieces like this one will help you get many looks with fewer items in your closet!
